She shoots stills, he shoots film, and after enough weddings together the two stopped being separate jobs. We work as one — quiet, quick, and usually somewhere near the back of the room.

We believe a wedding photograph is worth keeping only if it's true. Not the tidied version, not the one where everyone's chin is at the right angle — the one where your gran is laughing at something she shouldn't be. That's the frame you'll come back to.

And Scotland, because it's home. We've spent years learning its light: how long the summer evenings hold in Perthshire, what the Highlands do to a grey sky, how a barn looks at half nine when the ceilidh finally goes. There's nowhere better to get married, and nowhere better to photograph it.
